About: part of Hypertherm's SureCut technology. True Hole used in black steel processing applications (Mild Steel) for better hole machining quality than previous technology. Equally important, True Hole technology True Hole technology is controlled automatically without operator intervention, to produce hole quality unmatched by previous plasma technology.

True Hole technology is applied in conjunction with HPRXD and XPR sources and automatic plasma gas generation system and also applied with file translation software for the ability to punch 25mm diameter holes and hole thickness to diameter ratio. 1:1.

Introduction: vertical contour cutting (Contour Cut – CC) for precise cutting on black steel (Mild Steel). When cutting parts with small contours, especially with small holes with a 1:1 diameter to material thickness ratio, remarkable cutting quality is achieved. Smooth cutting surface and sharp iron edge cut to reduce post-processing time. As a result, the product is increased while the cost is reduced. Contour Cut technology meets the best cutting requirements at the highest cutting speed with high quality.

Optimal results:

  • Align the material to the plasma torch so that it is in a perpendicular position.

  • Correctly adjust torch height and punch mode.

  • Fixed height adjustment for hole diameters up to 30mm

  • Correct parameters.

  • Cutting process: clockwise cutting direction for outer contour cutting and counterclockwise cutting direction for inner contour cutting.
